Business Development Manager (Senior)

Massif

Metro Vancouver, Canada

Acme connects employers with skilled, bilingual international workers — people who speak English plus another language — to fill critical gaps across sectors like hospitality, processing, and other industries facing shifting workforce demands. We're looking for a senior Business Development Manager to grow and deepen the employer relationships that make those placements possible. What you'll do As our Business Development Manager, you'll own the full arc of building employer partnerships: identifying sectors and companies who need bilingual, work-ready talent, opening those conversations, and turning them into lasting relationships. You'll be the bridge between the employers we serve and the international workforce we place — understanding each sector's needs and translating them into placements that stick. You'll also work closely with the people in our programs, helping ensure the workers and students we support land in the right roles. This is a field position based in Metro Vancouver, with your own independent office at Acme. Your first few months Early on, you'll get to know our existing employer base and the sectors where demand is strongest right now. You'll map where the biggest opportunities are, start building your own pipeline of employer relationships, and learn how our placement model works end to end. By the end of your first quarter, you should own a growing book of employer partners and have a clear read on which sectors to prioritise next. What a strong candidate brings - A master's degree - 5–6 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or relationship management - A proven track record of building and sustaining long-term client or employer relationships - Comfort working across sectors — hospitality, processing, and beyond - Bilingual ability or fluency working with bilingual, international talent is a strong plus - A genuine interest in workforce development and helping people build careers Why Acme This is mission-driven work. Every relationship you build translates into real opportunity for the workers and students who need a foothold — and into a solved problem for employers who can't find the talent they need. If you want your business development skills to add up to something bigger than a quota, this is that role.
